Three ways WiFi can supercharge your next event

Are you ready to take your event to the next level? WiFi can instantly bring any event to life and opens up a world of possibilities. Here’s just three reasons you should think about WiFi at your next event.

Take electronic card payments

Move over cash, card is king now. A recent survey revealed that 80 per cent of people use their debit card to pay for everyday purchases such as petrol, meals, and food. And now, card payments are even easier. Guests can wave their mobile phone at a scanner and pay for items without cash or card in sight!

Plus, guests are more likely to spend more if they’re using a card (apparently). London Business School professor, Niro Sivanathan, claims that parting with cash is “psychologically painful” while paying for items with a contactless card “anaesthetises the psychological pain that accompanies payment.”

Ouch… better pay by card then.

Keep your guests happy

How long could you spend without WiFi? Well, according to a new poll, six in 10 people can’t go without WiFi for more than one day! Having a WiFi connection is important to guests, and by connecting them, it helps them talk about your event online. It’s a win-win.

Charge for WiFi

If you’re uncomfortable about the initial investment, you can always let your exhibitors / traders pay to use your WiFi. The payment process is simple, and all the profits go into your pocket. We recommend that event organisers charge for WiFi wherever they can – the return on investment (ROI) far outweighs all other tech in the industry.
